Negotiation Lawyer at the Tenants' Association in Malmö

Every day, the Tenants' Association, its elected representatives, employees, and members contribute to improving housing for people. We have been doing this for many years, and we want to continue to advocate for tenants' interests, rights, and opportunities to influence their housing in the future.

We now need reinforcement and are looking for a negotiation lawyer for the Tenants' Association in the southern Skåne region, based in Malmö.

Your Mission

As a negotiation lawyer with us, you will be a central player in both our legal work and our negotiations. You will drive and investigate complex legal issues while leading negotiation delegations and negotiating with counterparties. You will work closely with elected representatives and members, where you will communicate our positions and coordinate the work within the delegation. An important part of the role is to engage elected representatives in both legal analyses and negotiation processes. Monitoring developments in housing issues and housing policy is also part of the job.

Your Background

To fit in as a negotiation lawyer, you are a driven and self-sufficient person who thrives in a leadership role and easily takes responsibility and builds trust. You have a strong analytical ability and a systematic approach, while also being confident and able to focus even in pressured situations.

Collaboration skills are important in the role as you need to work closely with both elected representatives, members, and colleagues. As a negotiator, you are service-oriented and communicative, both verbally and in writing. You have experience in testing, investigating, and driving legal issues and can naturally switch between legal work and negotiation.

We are looking for someone who:

Additionally, we would like you to have experience representing a party in negotiations or legal processes. Experience in the real estate and housing industry is also considered an asset.

  • Independent and structured
  • Collaborative ability

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability for the position.
